What is ZUMBA®?

 

The Zumba® program is a latin –inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness program.  A Zumba® class also known as a Zumba® Fitness Party combines fast and slow whythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance or cardio and muscle-toning benefits. The Zumba® program integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval and resistance training to maximize caloric output, cardiovascular benefits, and total body toning.  The cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that include body sculpting, which targets areas such as gluteus, legs, arms, core, abdominals and to most important part of the body-the heart.

 

 

 

 

 

What is ZUMBA® TONING?


The Zumba® Toning program takes the original Zumba® dance-fitness class to the next level utilizing an innovative muscle training protocol and the addition of lightweight toning sticks or dumbells.  Created to emphasize muscle work along with the rhythms, this combination of cardio and dynamic resistive exercise is an effective use of progressive lightweight training to improve overall performance.  This Latin-inspired dance n tone program also includes, for the first time, combination rhythms within the same songs which adds to the fun and flavor.  This program is assured to provide the participant with a safe and effective, re-defining total body workout! Zumba® Toning creates the same party atmosphere as every other Zumba® program because the rhythm of the dance is the passion and foundation which keeps the participant engaged and coming back.  Zumba® Toning is exhilarating, different, challenging and effective and provides a new avenue to weighted activity for the participant.

 

 

 

 

 

What is PILOXING?

 

PILOXING is an exciting fitness program that blends the best of Pilates, Boxing, and Dance into a high-energy interval workout. PILOXING is an interdisciplinary system of two extremes. The powerful feeling of Boxing, throwing solid punches, then transferring your body movements into Pilates and feeling like a dancer, are both  at opposite ends of the energy and emotional continuum.  Yet, both share the common Principle of working from the ‘Core’ and they share the key Concepts of Concentration, Focus, Awareness and Control.
The combination of Boxing and Pilates as the primary exercise components of PILOXING is designed to empower women to immerse themselves in a discipline that incorporates their true essence: femininity, control, sensuality and power.

What is PILOXING BARRE

 

A UNIQUE AND EFFECTIVE 'BARRE' WORKOUT UNLIKE ANY OTHER.

PILOXING Barre is a comprehensive well-rounded workout that is low impact, yet intensity building. This program creates full body awareness utilizing a Ballet Barre for the entire class- both standing and grounded.

 

WHAT MAKES PILOXING BARRE DIFFERENT?

Most Barre programs offer similar benefits and movement styles because they are steeped in traditional ballet. However, the PILOXING Barre method integrates boxing with ballet-inspired Pilates moves while wearing weighted PILOXING gloves, which will up the ante and increase calorie burn, toning benefits, and workout intensity.

 

 

 

 

What is MOLD?


MOLD is a fitness boot camp is type of group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. These classes are designed in a way that pushes the participant harder than they'd push themselves and, in that way, resemble a military boot camp.
 

During this class, we will perform lots of push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, jumping jacks, squats, lunges, planks, mountain climbers standing calf raises with little rest between exercises.
 

We are going to work and tone your shoulders, biceps, triceps, abs, obliques glutes, thighs, inner thighs, calves.
The session will end with some gentle stretching.
